After ISIS regained control of Fallujah in early 2014, Mr. Jamison wrote an article for the Richmond Times-Dispatch about the Marine blood that was previously spilled to take back Fallujah in 2004.  He remembered his friend, Sgt. Kelley Courtney, who was killed by a suicide bomber on the outskirts of Fallujah just before the major battle commenced.
